State-of-the-Art Restorative and General Dentistry
Our doctors partner with an outstanding team of local oral surgeons and periodontists to provide top-quality dental implants. These biocompatible titanium posts are permanently secured in your jawbone and can support a variety of restorations, including crowns, bridges, and dentures.
Sleep Apnea Treatment
Obstructive sleep apnea occurs when your soft palate and tongue collapse during sleep, blocking your airway and causing you to awaken at night. While some doctors treat OSA with continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) machines, we offer custom oral devices to realign your jaw while you sleep.
TMJ Disorder Therapy
Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder results when joints are damaged or the surrounding tissue becomes inflamed, causing pain, migraines, and a clicking sound. Our doctors offer conservative, yet highly effective, treatment using custom mouthguards, which can realign your jaw.
If you have a severely compromised tooth, a dental crown can restore your smile and bite. This cap fits over the top of the tooth and is specially designed to blend beautifully with your smile. We offer crowns crafted from all-porcelain, zirconia, and porcelain-fused-to-metal.
Bridges replace one or more missing teeth in a row. We offer both traditional and implant-supported bridges to provide comprehensive care. Bridges can be composed of porcelain, metal, or a combination of the two, and you can visit the dental lab to have your restoration color-matched in person.
Dentures are designed to replace all or most of your teeth after significant tooth loss. We offer traditional dentures, which are comprised of a gum-colored plastic base and artificial teeth. The base is filled with a soft liner for comfortable, all-day use. We also offer implant-supported dentures.
Overdentures are a type of removable implant-supported denture. Although the implants are permanent, the restoration can be removed for easy cleaning and maintenance. As implants are incredibly durable, you will not have to worry about your denture slipping out of place when you eat or speak.
Root Canal Therapy
If you have an infected tooth root, root canal therapy may be the only way to avoid extraction. During your procedure, we can clean and reshape the inner chamber of your tooth, as well as the root canals, before filling the tooth for protection. We use rotary handpieces for minimal discomfort.
If your dentist discovers a cavity, a filling is usually the best way to strengthen your tooth and prevent bacteria from spreading. We offer tooth-colored fillings, which blend seamlessly with your smile. In addition to placing new fillings, we can replace old metal fillings with composite resin.
If your tooth is too damaged for a filling but does not warrant a crown, an onlay can restore the tooth structure. This restoration covers the chewing surface of molars, extending over the cusps of the tooth. We prefer IPS e.max® porcelain onlays, which are known for their strength and durability.
Full Mouth Reconstruction
If you have extensive dental damage, you may qualify for treatment. Dr. Kaffey studied at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, where he was specially trained in full mouth reconstruction. He can combine any number of restorative procedures into a personalized treatment plan.
Our doctors offer a range of treatments for gum disease, including deep cleanings, mouth rinses, and ARESTIN®. We also incorporate soft tissue lasers to remove compromised tissue with less bleeding and discomfort, and reduced recovery time. We can develop a custom treatment for your condition.
“I went in for a second opinion and am happy that I did. Very friendly and knowledgeable office staff. Dr. Kaffey has a great bedside manner. This is without a doubt my new dental office.” Kelly G.
