About Dr. David Kaffey
With over 2 decades of experience providing dental care to people of all ages, I am well versed and experienced in many different areas of dentistry. Since my cum laude graduation in 1994 from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, I have concentrated my advanced training on Cosmetic Dentistry, Implant Dentistry, TMJ Treatment, Oral Medicine, Orthodontics, Endodontics (Root Canal therapy), Sleep Apnea Therapy, and Prosthetics. I have studied extensively at the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies with a concentration in Cosmetic Dentistry and TMJ disorders. By advancing my education and clinical skills, I have been able to greatly improve the quality of life of many people of all ages.
In addition to being involved in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, and the Pennsylvania Dental Association, I have been featured on NBC for my cosmetic dentistry and I have had several articles on cosmetic dentistry published. As a member of the Montgomery Bucks Dental Society, I currently serve as the Chair of the Distinguished Speakers Series, a series of educational seminars for dental professionals covering a wide range of topics. I am also a Past President, Treasurer, and Secretary of the Main Line Dental Society. I find it important to help those that are less fortunate and throughout my career I have worked for different public health organizations as a way to "pay it forward" and help those in need. Most recently in 2013 I was a volunteer at the largest urban Mission of Mercy effort in Pennsylvania, MOM-N-PA. We provided dental care to over 1800 needy people at Temple University’s Liacouras Center over a 2 day period of time.
In my free time, I enjoy many outdoor activities with my wife and our two teenage children including skiing, hiking, biking, camping, travel, soccer, softball and baseball.
